If you’re suffering from a shoulder or elbow injury, mark your calendar to attend the Wood Forum from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 28, and hear about the latest research in prevention and treatment. Special guests include Jon Cornish, former All-Star running back with the Calgary Stampeders, and Rhett Warrener, former defenceman with the Calgary Flames.

The symposium is organized in conjunction with The Arthritis Society‘s Joint Health Symposium on the same date from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Both events will be held at the Red & White Club, 1833 Crowchild Trail N.W. , Calgary. ADMISSION IS FREE.

The Wood Forum is an annual symposium offering the general public the opportunity to engage directly with researchers and clinicians about their latest work. It is an initiative of the McCaig Institute, comprising basic scientists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, radiologists, kinesiologists and biomedical engineers who research bone and joint diseases.
